ISESolver performs the basic calculations involved in potentiometric analysis of analyte ions using ion-selective electrodes (ISE). The basis of calculations is the Nernst equation which relates the measured potential to the concentrations of ions in solution.
To use this app, the user needs the following:
(1) 2 or more analytes (primary and secondary) for calculating the selectivity coefficient for each respective of primary analyte; and
(2) Set of standard solution for each analyte;
(3) Linear potential values (in millivolts) corresponding to each standard solution excluding values past limit of detection (linear values only)
The potential values may be acquired using actual measurements using a millivolt meter or randomly generated values based on theory.
For the time being, ISESolver is only available for Android.
